Have you ever seen a dog and became afraid that he may bite you? Believe it or not, many dogs have a problem with fear biting because they, too, are scared. Fear biting should never be confused with a bite that happens out of aggression (which can signal a deeper set of personality issues)

It’s normal for dogs to lick a human as a way to greet them. While people don’t lick each other to greet, they do use their tongues for other things such as eating ice cream or licking the spoon from the cookie dough bowl. Most societies don’t consider dog licking as a form of greeting.
